Would a deal of Wilfred Bony plus £20m in cash from Manchester City be enough to tempt us into selling John Stones?

If the Sun is right that could do the trick.

But Ronald Koeman would only have an interest in the former Swansea striker if Romelu Lukaku eventually ends up leaving Everton with it thought 27-year-old Bony could be a good fit at Goodison Park.

Bony has struggled since his £25m move to Man City in 2015 with him managing just six-goals in his 36-matches yet he proved during his time at the Liberty Stadium therefore we know what he can do so he’s a player (in that form) we do know would be an asset.

Ideally we’ll keep hold of Lukaku and Stones though as they’re greater assets!

There’s absolutely not need for Everton to sell either player though as we know with us looking to build something and not dismantle it now that we’re under a new owner so the money isn’t the deciding factor whatsoever.

It’ll come down to how strong the desire is of Lukaku and/or Stones to leave Goodison is as to if this happens, even then they’ll only leave on our terms.

An apparent player Koeman did have an interest in is Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin but it has been said his former Southampton midfielder doesn’t want to leave Old Trafford.

The French international is ready to ‘fight for his place’ under Jose Mourinho.
