With long-standing speculation about Barcelona’s Yerry Mina coming to nothing so far this transfer window, Mirror have reported that our attentions have now switched from Manchester United’s Marcos Rojo and are now tracking Chelsea’s Kurt Zouma as another option.
The 23-year-old French defender spent last season out on loan with Stoke City so it’s believed he’ll be easier to capture with the transfer deadline window slamming shut later this evening.
The BBC’s Andy West also tweeted the following in relation to Mina.
Looks like Yerry Mina is choosing Everton ahead of Man United. Fee around £35m, which is a sum that only an English club would even consider paying for such an unproven player (four starts for Barça, including a 5-4 loss) no matter how much potential he might have. Crazy fee.

Few would imagine we’ll get both, and speculation surrounding Brazil attacker Bernard continues with the Times stating that we are in advanced talks with the winger after we agreed a deal with the free agent.
All in, it’s made for a happy time on social media and some fans are lauding the impact Marcel Brands has had so far this summer.
Get these 3 in and what a window we’ve had!

Whether these deals come off or not before the deadline closes later this window we’ll have to wait and see but we appear to be ended in strong fashion so you have to hope something comes off – especially the centre-half position.
