Good news everyone, the Republic of Ireland aren’t going to injure Seamus Coleman this month in the international break.
Martin O’Neill has announced his squad and our right-back does not feature which means he is clearly not going to be ready for them.
Obviously, he’s not exactly playing for us any time soon and that is still a negative but at least he’s not going to be rushed into playing for the Boys in Green.
Everytime he’s gone there it seems as though he’s picked up something and with the last break until 2019 we should be able to see a lot of him for the coming months.
I’m all for our club being represented on the international stage and Coleman does a fine job but, just this once at least, it’s good to see he won’t be getting into trouble.
Now we wait for him to make his full return.
