It’s been well-documented that we’ve been missing players of late and it is safe to say we’ve got a bit of an injury pile-up going on right now.
However, we’re not the only side suffering and in a potential evener, Arsenal themselves have got a fair few injuries to deal with.
Indeed, according to the London Evening Standard, the Gunners could be without six players for the game at the Emirates.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Lucas Torreira suffered knocks in the Europa League whilst Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sead Kolasinac and Laurent Koscielny are all also expected to be out.
It’s obviously not going to make our task massively easier but it should help us out a little bit as we go in search of a long overdue win against the Gunners.
We’ve got our own fitness issues, of course, so it’ll be interesting to see how the two sides line-up on Sunday.
