Marco Silva has had a fairly okay start to life at Everton with some promising signs mixed in with a few negatives.
Overall, I am pleased with what I’ve seen from the manager because he’s looking to implement a much nicer-looking style and, of course, that will take time.
For sure, there are some promising signs but it would be naive to think right now he has proven himself and there is still work to do.
He seems well aware of what he wants to do and what it means to be our manager, though, and in a recent interview with David Prentice he seems to have come across rather well:
Enjoyed this chat with Marco Silva. And he did smile. A lot.https://t.co/Chw3LaC4U9

We’ve seen that before, of course, and results still need to be got but I think in the main most are fairly pleased with what we have in Silva right now.
Here, then, is some of the reaction to the piece with plenty pretty happy with what he had to say – if not completely everyone:
I think he said “we” and “our” more times in that interview than koeman said throughout his entire reign

Yeah sexy get, ain’t he

We seen this with Martinez though. Fake smile. Talks a good game but ultimately let down by defensive failings. I see no different end result #efc

Great interview @prenno – we are all getting a real insight into this young coach who I have always rated from a distance. With time and patience I think we could have a real gem here Blues.
