As quoted by SB Nation, Domagoj Vida’s agent has said that we have made an offer to his player this summer.
The Croatian player went to the World Cup in the summer and, of course, made the final with his nation thanks to some solid displays at the back.
Certainly, he impressed and since we have been linked with him for some time.
According to his agent, then, we’ve made an offer with him saying:
“Liverpool and Everton are huge clubs that have made offers.”
The Verdict
I’m not sure whether to believe this or not to be honest.
I think his agent is probably trying to drum up support and I have no reason to see why he’s actually right.
We’ve been linked, of course, but there are other defenders who seem higher up on Silva’s radar this summer.
Perhaps, then, it might be best to take this story with a pinch of salt for now and just wait and see what happens.
