Although it may be an extended period of months before we see our midfield maestro on the pitch again, it is fantastic news to hear he will make a full recovery and be back in Everton blue eventually (via BBC).
With a long road of recovery ahead for Gomes, many supporters were wishing him well as he begins rehabilitation.

Whilst it is still frustrating the injury occurred in the first place, it seems as though Gomes is making the best possible progress since the game against Tottenham Hotspur (via BBC).
Hopefully, the Portuguese midfielder can make a full and speedy recovery to be back playing for us at Goodison Park again before the end of the season.
