Marco Silva’s Everton side took to the Goodison Park pitch on Saturday and took a pretty comfortable victory over Brighton and Hove Albion.

Brighton were in decent form with some solid rearguard actions of late, but Everton were far more at their best and plenty of fans would’ve been delighted to see us take a fully deserved 3-1 victory on the day.

Dominating possession and having over double the attempts at target when compared to the visitors, if you had to pick out something for obvious improvement it was efforts on goal as both sides managed three apiece.

Richarlison scored with his two attempts on target, and Seamus Coleman made the most of his effort as well.

It was no surprise to see WhoScored rate our players highly on the day and the Brazilian stole the show with 8.96.

Coleman’s efforts saw him come second with 8.22 and the top five on the say was completed by Idrissa Gueye, Michael Keane and Lucas Digne.

Chelsea will certainly be tougher but we head to Stamford Bridge in good spirits.
