Friday evening’s Premier League clash saw Burnley make the trip to Goodison Park for Everton’s penultimate game of the 2018/19 campaign.

A strong first half saw manager Marco Silva’s side establish a 2-0 lead at the halftime break with Richarlison’s deflected effort being credited as a Ben Mee own goal, and Seamus Coleman added our second 20 minutes in.

2-0 was how it finished as Everton took their foot off the gas in the second period and Burnley came more into it, but statistics website Whoscored were very positive in their player ratings following the tie.

Morgan Schneiderlin took their star man award for his efforts on the day with a score of 7.93, and he was followed by Seamus Coleman (7.81), Lucas Digne (7.77), Michael Keane (7.75) and Idrissa Gueye (7.45) to complete the top five best performers on the day.

Special mention for Kurt Zouma who also received a plus seven score.

Onto the curtain closer now against Tottenham Hotspur and hopefully our improvements will continue.
