4 Tackles, 2 Shots & 3 Key Passes Sees Reliable Everton Figure Take MotM

Everton made the trip to Selhurst Park on Saturday to face Crystal Palace and the battle for seventh spot in the Premier League was wide open.

Unfortunately, Everton couldn’t take advantage of their clear dominance across the 90 minutes and although we restricted the hosts to only eight efforts (all off target), despite creating 22 chances of our own, we had to settle for a point as we could only get three on target ourselves.

Statistics website Whoscored were pretty positive in their player ratings given the control we had though, and they had ever reliable Lucas Digne as Man of the Match with a score of 7.59.

Completing the top five best performers on the day in their system were Michael Keane (7.40), Idrissa Gueye (7.29), Seamus Coleman (7.27) and Kurt Zouma (7.15).

Disappointing to not take all three points and Wolverhampton Wanderers now have a four point gap over us with the games running out, but at least we are ending the 2018/19 campaign in a stronger fashion.
