Over the weekend, the Mirror claimed Everton are ready to make a move on Arsenal for Theo Walcott.
His Gunners team Olivier Giroud has also been linked with the Blues.
Walcott does have previous of playing as an out and out striker but the forward has primarily been used as a winger, finding himself in and out of the Arsenal side in the past 12 months or so.
This could leave Arsenal open to the option of selling Walcott, according to the Mirror.
However, any interest in Giroud is doomed to failure though as it would be a ‘no-go’ but Everton could be ‘more successful’ if a pursuit of Walcott, 28, was continued – Ronald Koeman is looking for a wide player.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright feels Walcott is shown an ‘amount of disrespect’ unfitting to the England international but did admit if the Blues were to offer £30m he feels the Gunners should accept.
Sad to see the amount of disrespect that Theo gets from the fans. I'll always love him, but if it is a 30 million bid, got to take it 😢

Yes, he’s shown flashes of brilliant but has Walcott ever become ‘that player’ he was expected to? Perhaps a move to Goodison Park would make it happen, obviously we would hope it did if that happened, but if he was going to go to the next level wouldn’t it have happened by now at Arsenal?
