Farhad Moshiri has put Everton Football Club up for sale

Farhad Moshiri has put Everton Football Club up for sale and he is looking to make a sale at a price of over £500 million, according to a recent report

After selling his stake in Arsenal Football Club in 2016, Farhad Moshiri launched a takeover bid for Everton Football Club.

In late February of that year, the British-Iranian businessman acquired a 49.9% stake in Everton, which he increased to 94% in January 2022.

Although his takeover was seen as somewhat of a rebirth for the football club when he first arrived, it has been far from that.

In his 6-year tenure, the blues seem to have gotten worse, both on and off the pitch. During these 6 years, the club have had 6 permanent managers, which is soon to be 7 when they replace Frank Lampard.

However, according to The Guardian, Farhad Moshiri has put Everton Football Club up for sale and he is looking for offers of over £500 million.

Everton Football Club put out a video of Farhad Moshiri doing an interview with the fan advisory board. In this video, Moshiri said that he did not want to sell the club, but this interview was recorded before the team’s trip to London to face West Ham.

As we have seen recently, things can change very quickly in football. It would be no surprise if Moshiri does try to sell the club before the end of the year.
