Anthony Gordon beats Erling Haaland to Premier League record

|

Everton winger, Anthony Gordon has reached a top speed of 36.8 KM/H this season, faster than any other player in the Premier League, beating the likes of Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez to the title.

The 21-year-old started the season quite brightly, bagging in consecutive games against Leeds United and Brentford early in the season, but has only managed 1 Premier League goal since then, in his side’s 3-0 win over Crystal Palace at Goodison Park last month.

However, in the blue’s mid-season friendly fixture against Western Sydney Wanderers, Gordon put in an excellent performance, bagging himself a well-deserved hat trick.

His first goal came after a nice move down the left and a good run into the box, but his second and third both came after superb counter-attacking moves from the blues that were finished by the winger.

Seeing how effective Gordon is on the counter-attack, it is no surprise that he has registered the highest top speed in the Premier League this season, beating Liverpool’s Darwin Nunez by 0.1 KM/H.

Gabriel Martinelli, Erling Haaland and Darwin Nunez were all within 1 KM/H of Anthony Gordon’s top speed, but none could match it.

The winger has been linked several times to moves away from the club, with the likes of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur reportedly very interested in acquiring his services over the summer window and may attempt to attract him to a move in January.
